It is often not a lack of breakthrough ideas that prevents the development of novel, innovative anti-infectives. Rather, it is a lack of funding, development and commercial experience that limits the resources available to start-ups and academic groups, thereby preventing the development of new therapeutic options. AiCuris strongly believes that there is a need to encourage the development of more early stage projects. Therefore, we are constantly looking for novel technologies and creative approaches to develop more effective treatments for infectious diseases with high unmet medical need.
