- Excellent stability. Existing products claim shelf lives between 6 and 12 months. Due to their true spherical shape and excellent monodispersity, our gold particles are stable for at least 18 months. This allows our customers to make huge savings and work with larger batches, minimising the time spent bridging batches.

Due to their spherical shape and lack of sharp edges, our nanoparticles can interact with each other at a single point of contact without creating strong interactions that could lead to irreversible aggregation. If you look at competing 'spherical' gold nanoparticles, you can see that their particles are not spheres, but particles with sharp edges such as hexagons and triangles. These sharp edges create higher interaction energies when they interact, leading to irreversible aggregation and precipitation. By reducing aggregation, our Nano Flow Gold provides maximum contact surface for antibody attachment. This enables our customers to develop diagnostic tests with increased sensitivity.

At Nano Flow, our gold particles and antibody-gold conjugates are manufactured using state-of-the-art equipment in an automated, large-scale manufacturing process. Single batches can be up to 20 litres. Thanks to automation and in-line control of critical parameters, we can offer our customers excellent batch-to-batch consistency.
